flood!

Oops.....

Damn hotel shower curtains. They are so light and airy that I didn't realize the one side wasn't shut and I just used all but 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel to sop up the river flowing through the bathroom. Gah.

In BC...again!

Hey there from 3 hours behind normal time :) I actually adjusted quite well to my bonus 3 hours this time around. I think my shifted work hours and sleep-ins helped that along. I'm back in BC for work and my schedule's jam packed!

I flew in on Sunday, but one of my pieces of luggage decided to take a later flight. It was actually a pretty good flight - great for people watching! I didn't end up with a window seat (sad) but I did have an aisle seat so getting up for pee breaks was super! The movie was Walk the Line and I really enjoyed it. Reese and Joachim did great jobs portraying the Cashes.

Had a couple days of visits and tomorrow is a big fair. Not as big as we do it in the middle of the country, but big enough for a lone rep in a 10x10 booth.

Fly out to Kelowna on Thursday morning and then back to Vancouver on Saturday to finish up my tour. Canadian Idol auditions are being held....maybe I should get in line *snicker*

censored

I don't like feeling censored. Isn't that just part of posting my thoughts online, of all places!?! I've been blogging since 2001 in various places. When I started, I eased in and posted little tidbits of information here and there. As I became more comfortable, I started really putting it out there. I wrote about things I wouldn't dream of posting online now. Then my circle of readers got bigger. More real-life people started reading and I started to keep more thoughts in my head. I only let them read what I wanted them to.

Eventually, I erased it all. All the archives were trashed and I tried to start over. The truth is, I never just let it all hang out after that.

I'm starting to feel a bit more comfortable here again, but I'm hesitant to post too much. I want to tell you what's on my mind, but I don't want it falling on the wrong eyes. So here I am....typing away and not really telling you what's really on my mind. What is on my mind is bothering me. Perhaps I'll work out a more cryptic way to tell you about it.....

getting there...

I've been working on the procrastination list. I'm now only 2 weeks behind in my class. I took the Christmas tree down. I still need to file the bills and hang pictures on the wall, but I'm getting there! Baby steps.

:(

I definitely do not like being the disciplinarian :(
