Lazy Sunday

I didn't mention that I signed up for a creative gourmet class which started last Thursday. I loved it! Well, I grew to love it. After the introduction to the chef and the huge stainless steal kitchen, we were given our recipes, divided into groups and were left to make our creations. I had an overwhelming "what the hell did I sign myself up for" thought that disappeared about half way through the class. Thursday's class was stocks and soups. Sounds easy, but wasn't. Well, the stock part was, but the soup part was definitely where you can go wrong. My group's soup was the best of the three the class made. The most tasty I think! Next week is salads. I'm looking forward to it. I don't think I'm the most creative person out there, but I'm great at completing tasks so it was neat to actually experiment with creativity and then complete and serve something we made!

Went shopping on Friday and bought an air conditioner. I caved. I just can't go through another hot spell like the one last week. I had the worst sleeps ever. Also bought some flip flops and two yoga sweaters.

Today I feel like doing nothing, but I'm trying to sort through the paper explosion in and around my desk. I'm visiting the fam next weekend and this week I'm pretty busy most nights so I want to try to tidy as much as I can today....whether I want to or not.
