come on baby light my fire

There were no matches...not even a spark... I had to acknowledge it and let him know. So I did. And I try not to be disappointed that I haven't heard from him, but I guess not everyone is looking for a new friend. At least we both know where the other stands now.

procrastina...I'll finish the title later

I've caught the procrastination bug. Dammmmit!

1. still have to take Christmas tree down
2. need to file bills that are piled in the inbox by my desk
3. need to answer week 1 &2 questions for class
4. need to hook printer up
5. I'm sure there's more....

report

So it went well! He was waiting at the theatre doors with tickets and everything! We were the first in the theatre and started chatting about stuff and things. It was cool. Watched the movie (king kong) which was ridiculous in most parts. It was cool. I think we're going to get together again. We'll see how it goes.

blind date (not the show)

So I'm 45 minutes from a blind date. Yes, a blind date. Yes, a date. And yes, on a Sunday!? I'm freaking out and so nervous. But I am trying to convince myself to just chill the f--- out and just go and meet someone new. If things don't work out, no big deal. If they do, then they do. I'm such a novice.

I'll post the results ...probably tomorrow since by the time this freaking movie is done, I'll be home close to 1am.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I haven't been avoiding the celebratory phrase because I felt it wasn't a happy new year, I just forgot to log onto blogger to say so.

The days leading up to the new year were spent silently wondering what my motto or theme of the year would be. I say it like I do this every year. I did it once in 2003 and loved it. No Fear 2003. Remember J?
Well, I was trying to come up with a new one for 2006. My parents and friends even jumped in and offered their suggestions.

Make it stick 2006
Make it happen 2006
Love Fix 2006 (thanks to my family looking forward to a wedding that isn't on the horizon...no pressure...sheeesh)
Rock the boat 2006

The truth is, I couldn't come up with one. The other truth is that I just loved No Fear 2003. So, here I am, no motto. Any suggestions? The year's still new!
