complete moron
I didn't check to see if I had shut off my kettle after I emptied it and I ended up burning through the bottom of it. The kettle's currently cooling off on my balcony where the smell of burning plastic isn't making me gag. stupid.

I'm sorry to hear that Nic. I'll refrain from making any inability to boil water comments. ;) It could've been much worse. I'm sure there's a flashy new kettle with your name on it out there.
